It’s hard to stay afloat.
Your thoughts are overwhelming, feelings are intense, your relationship is complicated, and motherhood is hard.
And it’s been happening like this for some time now.
Handling the way you feel seems impossible.
Holding everything inside is getting much more complex, and it’s hard to avoid what’s going on. It’s hard to keep acting like things are fine and not as bad as they really are.
Things stay the same without change.
If you stay in this lane, nothing will change and will likely get much worse.
And you’ll stay unhappy, unfulfilled, and dissatisfied.
Making a change in your life is important and necessary because this boat is sinking.
So, what’s the solution?
Therapy can help you stay afloat.
Individual therapy is the place to bring all your worries, concerns, obstacles, and dilemmas to sort out – in a safe and judgment-free zone.
In therapy, you can lay things out, process any complicated feelings, uncover what’s getting in the way, and develop a strategy and plan of action to address issues.
Therapy can help you overcome the anxiety, depression, relationship or motherhood concerns that hold you back from living a life you love.
What can you expect in individual therapy?
My approach to therapy is warm, active, and engaged. The process between us is collaborative. Generally, I may lead you into exploring background influences, patterns, belief systems, behaviors, and tendencies to help you get to the root cause by asking you specific questions.
Painful memories and past experiences may come up, and I’ll help you process and unpack any unresolved emotions. You may also work on any narratives that might hinder you from engaging with yourself, others, or the world in an accurate and conducive way.
You’ll also learn better ways of coping and relating. These new skills, tools, and strategies will help you navigate your issues, such as anxiety, depression, conflict, or poor communication with your partner.
I’ll encourage you to practice these new interventions both in and outside of sessions and continue to help you troubleshoot until you resolve the issues.
Let’s steady the boat and keep you afloat.
Whatever your wellness goals are, working together in therapy can help you get there.
I’ve worked with many women on their mood, relationship and motherhood concerns, and I’m confident I can help you, too.
